What skills and experience we're looking for
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development of SEND provision across West Park School.
- Oversee the identification, assessment, and support of pupils with SEND.
- Line‑manage and nurture a skilled team of support staff.
- Work closely with teachers to ensure inclusive, adaptive classroom practice.
- Coordinate EHCP processes, annual reviews, and communication with external agencies.
- Monitor the progress of SEND learners and use data to guide effective intervention.
- Contribute to whole‑school CPD and champion inclusive practice.
- Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community, reflecting the values of the West Park family.
- Model and promote Hard Work, Achievement, Resilience and Kindness in every aspect of the role.
