Permanent Position
Grade 6 SCP 14-19 (£29,540 - 32,061, pro rata, £9,732 - £10,563, actual)
14.5 hours per week (2 days - exact days to be determined but they will be consecutive days)
8:15am-4:00pm (with a 30-minute unpaid break)

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced individual to join our team in the role of Senior Achievement Support Assistant.
The role will be based within our SEND Unit (Hive), working with pupils with complex needs. You will support the teacher and other colleagues in providing a bespoke curriculum for pupils, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan.
As part of your role, you will implement intervention programmes to support and compliment pupil’s EHC Plans, as well as (at times) taking responsibility for the provision in the teacher’s absence.
The successful candidate will bring with them the flair, commitment and passion, in order to provide the best learning opportunities for our most complex children, which will enable them to succeed in a mainstream setting.
The successful candidate will:
-Have an understanding of how children learn and how to get the best from them.
-Have substantial experience of working with children with complex and additional needs.
-Have experience of implementing a range of intervention programmes and bespoke curriculums.
-Have a passion to work with vulnerable children and be flexible to meet their needs.
