We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting the smooth operation of the school.
Role Overview:As the Senior Admin Assistant, you will be the focal point of the school for staff, parents, children and visitors, ensuring a friendly, welcoming and efficient environment.
You will act as a first point of contact within the school, to filter enquiries efficiently and appropriately, including all visitor checks and health and safety processes are in place to monitor entry in and out of the building.
Hours:There is an element of flexibility in the hours of this role, but we are ideally looking for someone who can work 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday, 39 weeks of the year (term time plus inset days). The salary given is a full-time equivalent, not an actual salary.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide a welcoming, professional point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff.
- Process small amounts of cash, invoices, orders and undertakes basic financial administration
- Oversee accuracy of information on school website including information required by Ofsted.
- Coordinate school events, meetings, and other special projects.
- Provide support to the school leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Handle inquiries and requests from parents and external agencies
- Support with the administration of medicine and first aid
- Support school attendance, managing the administration for the attendance system and leading on the first day calling.

Please note, this role will require an enhanced DBS with barred list check and full references to be obtained before any job offer can be confirmed.
