What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our team providing organised and effective support for the wider academy team. Our Senior Admin Officer will provide clerical, departmental and administrative functions for the academy under the direction of senior staff.
This is a varied role encompassing administrative and organisational services to our attendance, SEN, AEN and pastoral departments, minuting meetings including parent meetings, school operations meetings and lead meetings. The successful candidate will also provide welfare support to pupils, including undertaking first aid duties (depending on training) together with maintaining records of student health care plans.
As Senior Admin Officer you will also;
- Undertake admin for educational visits
- Provide training, support and guidance to the Academy Receptionist
- Arrange academy events throughout the year
- Assist with promoting the school via various media
- Cover for the Principal’s PA in their absence
