Senior Advanced Teaching Assistant job summary

As the Principal of Manor Church of England Academy I am delighted to share this opportunity and introduce our school to you. Manor has a proud history, having served the young people of York for over 210 years. We are a Church of England Academy and our Christian values guide, influence and underpin all that we do. We are a member of Heartwood Learning Trust, a growing family of schools working together to transform education across York, Hull and North Yorkshire. We are blessed to have state of the art facilities and supportive families, however our greatest assets are the over 1,100 young people enrolled with us and the 140 highly gifted teaching and support staff that work in our academy. Our aim is that all students and staff 'serve others, grow together and live life to the full'.

This role will be delivering learning activities for a significant number of individual pupils or groups (in the case of small primary schools, groups may constitute the whole class). Activities may involve assisting in the planning, preparing and delivering of learning activities as well as monitoring pupils, assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development, under the direction of class/subject teacher.
