We are seeking to appoint a talented, full time, permanent Senior Assistant Headteacher following our curriculum Deputy Headteachers move overseas. The role would suit a Senior Leader looking to progress on their Senior Leadership journey or a very experienced Middle Leader of a large department or significant part of the pastoral system. Ideally, we are looking for someone to lead our Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. We are interested in attracting the best possible candidate and will consider applications from other areas of expertise. We have the flexibility to adjust our team if required.
As a Catholic school applicants should have a good understanding of leadership in a faith context and be willing to support the Catholic Ethos of the school. It is not essential that candidates are practicing Catholics - this is not a protected post.
You would support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership team in leading the development of the Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, or an agreed area of focus, as well as with the operational running of the school day to day.
