Senior Early Years Practitioner job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated and forward-thinking Senior Early Years Practitioner - Full Time Flexible shifts for 52.00 weeks per year working at Camrose Early Years Centre.

The role will be varied and will include working with children 0-5 years as part of our maintained nursery school settings, to enable pupils to access the curriculum; reviewing and assessing pupil progress and targets; liaising with external agencies and providing pastoral support to pupils and their families. This will be a fulfilling and rewarding role where you will be making a difference to children’s learning and progress.

Foundations for Children Nursery Schools Federation comprises of four maintained nursery schools: Camrose Early Years Centre for Children & Families and Parklands Nursery School in Northampton; and Croyland Nursery School & Day Nursery and Highfield Nursery School in Wellingborough. We have over 80 years' experience providing high quality early education for children aged 0-5

The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience of working with Early Years and must be Early Years qualified minimum level 3. Training is offered for candidates who wish to develop their expertise.
  • Possesses outstanding communication skills and can work well in teams
  • Has a thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
