Senior Facilities Assistant job summary
Hours: 37.5 hours/week (12pm-8pm Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri, 1pm-9pm Weds) during term time, 9am-5pm during school closure times)
Holidays: 26 days’ holiday per year plus bank holidays

Northampton Academy are seeking to appoint a Senior Facilities Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in facilities management within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. We are looking for a skilled, hands-on individual with a proactive attitude, who thrives as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the Academy provides a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors. Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to take on more advanced tasks, support the wider facilities function, and deputise when required—making this an ideal stepping stone into a future management role.
