The Role

Cygnus Academies Trust are seeking an exceptional Senior HR Officer to join our HR team on a part-time and permanent basis. The Senior HR Officer will be the main contact on HR services, to ensure smooth running of recruitment and HR administration for the Trust.

This person will be responsible for onboarding of all new staff, administering the HR systems, including starters/leavers, users’ permissions and ensuring safer recruitment practices are followed. Liaising with our external HR and payroll providers and maintaining our SCR for all schools within the Trust. They will support line managers and other employees with HR policies and procedures.

They will supervise the payroll function of the Trust, ensuring a timely and accurate monthly payroll is processed. They will assist the payroll officer when pay increases for our teachers and support staff need to be processed within our payroll system and MIS system.
