Ormiston Sandwell Community Academy are seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate who is committed, confident and passionate about supporting young people and helping them to succeed.

The successful candidate will succeed the predecessor who is retiring. The post holder will be the senior IT team member on site for resolution of business as usual issues, responsible for using available resources to ensure IT service levels and standards are maintained in the academy. The role provides line management of junior IT staff within the academy, and from time to time will be required to support projects and service improvements, either in the academy or across the group.

OSCA is a welcoming academy which has benefitted from a major re-build and refurbishment programme. This has created exciting, new and well-equipped learning spaces. We are becoming increasingly the academy of choice in our community and are full and oversubscribed once again.

We are in very close proximity to Birmingham city centre with excellent transport links by car, bus and train; and are just a few minutes from Junction 2 of the M5.
