Senior Midday Supervisor- based at Flourish (at Ringshall Primary School) job summary
Senior Midday Supervisor with the opportunity to develop into a TA role for the right candidate ( TA role zero hour contract initially).
Based at Ringshall Primary School
6 hours per week - 38 weeks a year.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 1.30pm
Grade 2 - point 4 (£24,404 pro rata)

We are looking for a enthusiastic person who can work as part of a team and make a difference to the pupils they work with. You will be a good communicator and collaborate effectively with others. The ability to show care, compassion and be able to use your own initiative is imperative.
This is not a ‘usual’ midday assistant post- you will work with a small group of up to 8 pupils with 2 other experienced staff in this therapeutic and nurtured based setting. The opportunity for career development is available for the right person.

Responsibilities include:
Support the other setting staff to supervise pupils
Engage in conversation- modelling language and positive interaction
Play games and engage pupils in the environment
Support an ethos of aspiration, high expectation, low threat whereby staff model expectation through positive interactions with pupils
Engaging children in their learning by being enthusiastic and approachable
Assist pupils with eating and demonstrating suitable table manors
Support/supervise pupils to make drinks
Clearing away and washing-up
Be fun, approachable and nurturing in every interaction
