Senior Nursery Officer job summary

At St Thomas Centre Nursery School, we are passionate about inclusion and ensuring that our child-centred curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of all children; irrespective of the barriers and/or challenges they may face. Our team know the children very well and are able to differentiate the support that they provide each child accordingly.

You will work closely with the SENDCO and external support services. As a school, we strive to provide CPD opportunities to develop skills and expertise in this area and all areas of children’s learning and development.

Applicants will need to have a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years and have extensive experience in supporting children with SEN/D. Experience of leading a team of Early Years practitioners would be preferable and leadership qualities are essential.
