We are seeking an exceptional Senior Pastoral Manager to join E-ACT Royton & Crompton Academy. This is a pivotal role for a compassionate, resilient leader who will drive outstanding pastoral care, promote positive behaviour, and ensure every student feels safe, supported, and ready to succeed.

Key responsibilities:

  • To ensure the Academy graduated response and escalation tracker is implemented, maintained and quality assured
  • To ensure behaviour data is prepared weekly for leaders and key stakeholders
  • Manage and support pastoral staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, families, and external agencies to remove barriers to learning.
  • Champion inclusion, positive relationships, and a strong culture of care across the academy.

Pay range: SCP 28-32. £34,435.26 - £37,678.08 - FTE: £39,152.00 - £42,939.00 - 37 Hours per week/39 Weeks per year

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, behaviour management, and inclusion strategies.
  • Resilience - maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Collaboration - working with external agencies, leadership teams, and families.
