Contract Type: Permanent, 37 hours per week, term time plus 1 week (39 weeks)

We are seeking an organised and proactive, Science Technician. This key role is central to ensuring that practical Science lessons run smoothly, safely, and to a high standard.
The role requires strong organisational, planning, and time‑management skills to coordinate lesson preparation and manage workloads. You will also be responsible for managing stock, resources, and departmental budgets and maintaining accurate records. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves close collaboration with teaching staff, pupils, and senior leaders.
We are looking for someone with well‑developed ICT and administrative skills, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and the initiative and flexibility needed to support a busy science department.
Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex. It educates more than 1,300 pupils aged 11-18 from over 40 countries.
