We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Science Technician to join our fantastic team at CHS South.
This is a Grade 4, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £22,710 and the full time equivalent is £26,403.
We’re looking for:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Science Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality technical support to the Science department, helping to create a safe and well-resourced learning environment for our students. The role plays a key part in supporting students to become confident, and successful learners, while contributing positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.
Main purpose of the job:
- To work collaboratively with all stakeholders in order to support students to become creative, happy & successful. We are seeking
- To provide specialist technical support in a specific curriculum or resource area, including preparation and maintenance of resources and to provide general support to staff and pupils.
- To make a key contribution to the development and support of the school through the provision of technical support in a specific curriculum or resource area

CHS South
CHS South is a 11-16 eight-form entry, mixed, comprehensive school opened in conjunction with Chorlton High School in 2018. Our school provides a full capacity of 1200 in our brand-new building which opened in September 2021.
