About the role:

Rossett School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Science Technician to lead the technical support across its science laboratories. This vital role involves the management, preparation, and maintenance of scientific equipment and resources to support outstanding teaching and learning from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and fellow technicians to enable engaging, safe, and effective practical science lessons. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, contributing to the development of a stimulating learning environment, and occasionally supporting other subject areas with technical needs.

This is a key role within the science faculty, directly contributing to students’ academic progress and fostering a strong culture of scientific enquiry throughout the school
