Senior Teacher and Early Years Lead job summary

As part of the Leadership Team to develop the school’s vision and policy, to make strategic evaluations of learning and teaching and to lead and manage staff towards achieving the school’s goals.

This is an exciting time to join a senior leadership team who have recently been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted

  • To carry out the professional duties of a class teacher as required.
  • To have a thorough working knowledge of the school’s policies and guidance, and make explicit the aims, values and vision of the school, ensuring that they are reflected in all areas of school life.
  • To make a positive contribution towards raising academic standards for all children.
  • To make a positive contribution towards developing the quality of teaching and learning across the school
  • To work alongside other staff to promote excellent behaviour and a positive ethos within the school.
  • To undertake any additional duties and tasks under the reasonable direction of the Headteacher
