Weekly Hours: 37 hours per week: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm, Wednesday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team. You will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to deliver agreed programmes to individuals and groups, both in and out of the classroom. This role requires detailed and specialist knowledge in key areas and includes leading whole classes in the absence of both the Teacher and Assistant Teacher.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver specialist interventions and support pupils with a range of needs.
• Lead whole-class sessions when required.
• Support pupils, teachers, the curriculum, and the wider school community.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies including Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety.
• Represent the school positively within the community.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training, including Wednesday after-school sessions.
• Develop expertise in areas such as SCERTS, Intensive Interaction, Team Teach, SALT, OT strategies, and sensory impairments.
• Stay up to date with school communications and contribute to the school’s development.
