Churchward School is an innovative special school in Swindon supporting students with social, communication and interaction difficulties find their place in the world. We provide exceptional outcomes for students through a combination of emotional regulation, social interaction and academic progress giving our students the tools they need to take the next steps life, whatever they might be. We provide an opportunity for students to integrate in a mainstream environment whilst supported by specialist staff to develop independence and employability skills as well as continue their academic progress. this will provide the missing link between school and further education for young people with an EHCP not ready to fully transition.
Following on from our incredible success, we are thrilled to announce we are expanding and are looking to fill a range of positions to continue the quality education already in place. With a clear purpose of putting the student at the centre of everything, we need like-minded individuals to work with us ensuring these young people have a positive experience of education and are ready to make a positive contribution to the world around them.
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking to appoint a team of Senior Teaching Assistants who are passionate and able to make a positive contribution to the learning experiences of our students, as we are set to open a new September 2024 satellite provision in Swindon town centre.

Hours: 32.5 per week
Experience: You can join us as an entry level Support Assistant or an experienced Teaching Assistant. Please see the attached Job Descriptions for full details of the responsibilities and expectations of these roles.
Training: It is important to us to ensure you feel valued and supported. Full training appropriate to the role will be provided.
