Required for September 2025


Part Time (STA 14 hours per week, HLTA 6 hours per week)

Working hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 12pm with one afternoon per week 1pm - 3.30pm, term time only plus training days.

Pay Scales: STA PCD7A , Scale point 12 £27711 pa pro-rata , HLTA PCD8i Scale point 19 £31067 pa pro-rata.

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is part of Our Lady of Furness Catholic Federation. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and conscientious Senior Teaching Assistant / HLTA to work in our Year 1 and 2 Class.


The successful candidate will:

Have previous experience of whole class teaching.

Have a good knowledge of KS1 curriculum.

Hold relevant qualifications.
