Salary: Grade 7 £21,146.88 per annum
37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Start date: 6th January 2025The Fusion Academy is looking to recruit internally for a Senior Teaching Assistant within Key Stage 4 to assist with teaching and learning in Mathematics.
A flexible solution focussed approach to teaching young people of mainstream academic ability while addressing their communication and interaction barriers to learning is crucial.
You will have identified skills within this curriculum area based on your academic learning or experiences of supporting students within mainstream school.
As a Senior Teaching Assistant you will work primarily in your specialist area with additional input for PSHE and Social Communication for students. You will work with the subject specialist teacher to put in place strategies that engage students and collaboratively develop learning sequences with responsibility for planning (with support) for individuals and small groups, preparing resources and directing classroom support staff. You will support classes when teachers are taking part in meetings and other identified developments.
