What the school offers its staff

You will be part of a passionate and professional team dedicated to ensuring that children receive excellent learning opportunities and the best possible care in an inclusive and purposeful environment, shaped to their needs.

At Greystones we are committed to inclusion and we have high standards for all pupils. Staff who join our friendly and committed team are supported to grow and develop their practice through exceptional CPD and support from a warm, passionate group of dedicated professionals.

This Teaching Assistant role will continue on a permanent basis and will be subject to TUPE arrangements on converting.

Flexible working opportunities

We are particularly looking for a candidate who can work afternoons each week day (1pm to 3:30pm) supporting the teaching and learning in Years 3 and 4.

School could accommodate flexibility around a reduced number of afternoons in a week if there are more than one candidate who's combined availability match the school's requirements of hours as advertised.

Commitment to safeguarding

Greystones is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people; we expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. All shortlisted candidates should disclose any cautions or convictions prior to interview. The amendments to the ROA Exceptions Order 1975 (2013 & 2020) provide that certain convictions and cautions are 'protected' and therefore not subject to disclosure to employers.
