Senior WrapAround Playworker job summary

Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Senior Wrap Around Club Playworker to support the Wrap Around Club at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School. The role will be on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2026.

The role will be for 5.5 hours per week, working from 4pm-6pm Tuesday, 4pm-5pm Wednesday -Thursday and 3.30pm-5pm Friday.

The main duties of the role are:

  • To support the school in providing a high quality Wraparound provision at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School.
  • To supervise children who are attending the Wrap Around Club and provide a range of high-quality play activities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • As well as being professional, be friendly, patient and understanding towards children.
  • Have strong moral and ethical principles and values
  • Be enthusiastic and motivated and able to communicate well with a range of people
  • Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations
  • Be flexible, open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team and of course have a good sense of humour
  • Act with utmost integrity at all times
