Site Assistant job summary

  • Annualised hours with pay based on average of 10 hours per week. Operationally will work between 5 - 15 hours per week dependent on bookings
  • Working pattern: 5 days mainly evening work (after 5pm) during lettings, but a flexible approach is required
  • Term weeks: 38 weeks, Term Time Only - some adhoc work required during holiday periods, bookings dependent
  • FTC term: until mid July 2026

William Howard School is seeking a friendly and motivated Site Assistant to join our Site Team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth running of our community lettings programme and school site providing the highest quality customer service to our visitors and users. As a valued member of the school community, you will help create a welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the management and coordination of school lettings.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to internal and external users.
  • Assisting the site team with the smooth running of facilities and events across the school.
  • General site maintenance duties.
  • Contributing positively to the school community and ethos.
  • Supporting the PE department in the smooth running of the PE and sport facilities and equipment.
