What skills and experience we're looking for
Start ASAP - 25 Hours per week - Term time only - We operate a shift pattern between 6.30am to 7.00pm.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our Estates Team to help with the day-to-day maintenance of our large school estate.
This is a key role which requires energy and enthusiasm, flexibility, superb interpersonal skills and proven health and safety knowledge. You will carry out general maintenance duties within the school site. Ideally semi-skilled in carpentry/painting/decorating and general site work and gardening. Experience of working on a school site is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
You will have a 'can do' approach and the ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role, for example, cleaning, manual handling, DIY, lifting and general maintenance.
