Site/ Facilities Manager (L2) (Multi-Site) job summary

We are looking to appoint a Facilities Manager for 37 Hours per Week, on a Full Year basis to join our team. This is a multi-site role, with the successful candidate working across Burton Green, Skelton and Forest of Galtres primary schools. A typical working pattern for this role would be Monday-Friday: 6.00-7.30am; 12.30-6.30pm. This role encompasses opening and closing of the school buildings. The Facilities Manager would be required to cover all sites within the York area in the event of annual leave or emergency. Further details will be provided.

This role will provide high quality effective caretaking services to ensure a secure, safe and hygienic environment for all building users. Some supervision of cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness within the school. The post is required to work with tools, cleaning equipment and products which contain chemicals, but the necessary protective clothing will be provided. Also required to work outdoors in all weathers to ensure the school premises is safe.

Job Details

Hours of Work: 37 Hours per Week, Full Year

Position Type: Permanent Post

Travel Required: Yes. Transport and tools will be provided. Valid Driving Licence essential.
