Site and Farm Team Assistant Vacancy

NJC SCP 2 £24,413 per annum

37 hours a week/52 weeks a year

Weatherfield Academy is a growing 7-19 age range SEN Academy with pupils who have Specific Learning Difficulties and some additional needs taught in classes of approximately 12 students.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our Site Team, working both on site and grounds maintenance, to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Academy.

The successful candidate will be vital part of the Site & Farm Team, in keeping the school functioning, caring for our farm animals and grounds maintenance. This will include a range of managed planned and reactive site duties in line with DEFRA regulations and the Academy Health & Safety policies and procedures. Working effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who has experience and an appropriate qualification in animal husbandry, with a proactive, conscientious, and flexible approach.

Previous experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous, along with a full current, clean driving licence. The successful candidate would be subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check.
