Site/ Lettings Assistant job summary

Fountains High School are looking for a Site/Lettings Assistant to help ensure excellent operational standards, working primarily evenings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the security, safety and maintenance of the school premises and site while being used for out of hours lettings clients.

The position is full year, 32.5 hours per week excluding breaks. This is based on the below working pattern:

Monday - Friday - 2.00pm to 9pm (with a half hour break)

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within either a lettings, security or cleaning type environment, with an awareness of Health & Safety issues, excellent communication skills and be physically able to undertake the manual aspects of the role, as this role involves a level of physical effort, and the post holder will be required to regularly work outside in all weather.

The Fountains High School is a 11 to 19 special school within the Esteem Multi Academy Trust situated in Stretton, Burton Upon Trent. The school is presently oversubscribed with 222 pupils on roll including 36 Post 16 students based at Burton and South Derbyshire College (BSDC) campus.

The South Derbyshire Support Centre situated in Newhall – Swadlincote and caters for 26 pupils aged 7-16 with a variety of educational needs with a large number of the pupils having been permanently excluded or at risk of permanent exclusion from local mainstream academies. Both schools share a senior leadership team and local governing body.

At Fountains we pride ourselves on creating rich and exciting learning experiences for all children. All learning in school is highly differentiated and is rooted within four different curriculums' which is underpinned by our school values which are centred on Personal Learning and Thinking Skills which develop each child's character, providing the foundations that we try and live by every day.
