Pay Scale: MAC Band D, NJC 8 – 12 (£24,702 – £26,421)
HOURS: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, site is open from 6:00am-7:00pm, with a 3 shift pattern rotated weekly (AM, Midday, PM)

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Site Maintenance Operative to join our Multi Academy Company, based at Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy, to provide effective and efficient Caretaking duties in a safe, welcoming and conducive to learning environment.
Candidates with a trade such as plumbing, painting/decorating, carpentry or electrical would be desirable, although not essential.
The St Francis and St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Company (MAC) Board of Directors, in partnership with the Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy Committee, and the Archdiocese of Birmingham, wish to appoint a motivated, adaptable and experienced Site Maintenance Operative with a high calibre of DIY skills, excellent communication at all levels and good working knowledge of Health and Safety to join our team to maintain and improve the academy building and grounds.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment that focuses on high goals, and rapid improvement.
The successful candidates will:
Follow company policy and procedures to ensure the safeguarding, security and excellent education of our pupils is paramount;
Liaise and work with other Site staff and Estates Manager across the Multi Academy Company including relief key holding services and training for site staff;
Provide cover across the other Academies within our Multi Academy Company whenever required;
Be very flexible on working hours and be available outside of normal Academy times when required.
