Site Manager job summary
Plaistow Hill Primary and Nursery School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated Site Manager to maintain our school site to a high standard, and provide an attractive, clean, safe and secure environment in which our school community can thrive.
The Site Manager position is varied, including, health and safety, maintenance, safety checks, assisting with and supervising cleaning.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is able to prioritise and multi-task effectively
- Has good communication skills
- Has the relevant experience and good practical skills in building maintenance
- Can demonstrate adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Is able to undertake safety checks and maintain records
- Has experience of liaising with contractors

Plaistow Hill Primary and Nursery school is a small one form entry school in Plymouth. We pride ourselves on having a village school feeling in the city. We have great relationships with children and families ensuring a holistic approach to learning. Our dedicated staff have formed close working relationships to foster growth and collaboration.
