Site Manager job summary

Alde Valley Academy (part of Kingfisher Schools Trust) is the fastest growing secondary school in Suffolk due to the high expectations we have of our staff and students. As part of our continued development, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take the lead in managing our physical environment and contributing to the long-term operational success of the school. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management, safety, and strategic development of the school’s buildings, grounds, and facilities. This is a key role requiring a balance of operational oversight and strategic planning.

The successful candidate be responsible for overseeing the site compliance at a local primary school within the Trust, there will therefore be some travel involved between sites on an 'as needed' basis..

The successful candidate will:

be a proactive, organised, and experienced individual with strong leadership and project management skills.

be able to balance day-to-day operational demands with long-term planning

have a keen eye for detail and improvement.

have strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and building compliance.

budget and contract management experience.

excellent communication and leadership skills.

ability to respond calmly to emergencies and work flexibly as needed.
