Site Manager job summary

This is a full time, permanent position for approximately 37.5 hours per week over 52 weeks per year. We are looking to fill the hours from 6:30am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minutes unpaid break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day care, maintenance, and security of the school site, working as part of a team, responding to requests from stakeholders

  • Opening and closing the premises as required

  • Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance, and health & safety checks

  • Reporting to the School Business Manager any repairs and/or maintenance work required at the premises which cannot be undertaken as part of the above duties

  • Liaising with contractors and supporting school events as needed

  • Practical, hands-on, and able to work independently

  • Reliable, flexible, and well-organised

  • Committed to high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness

  • Positive attitude and able to work as part of a school team

  • Previous caretaking or maintenance experience is desirable but not essential. Please see the full job description attached.
