Site Manager job summary

At Ormiston Maritime Academy (OMA), we are seeking to appoint a dedicated and motivated Site Manager to lead on day-to-day maintenance and site management.

The successful candidate will have:

  • proven experience as a site manger, supervisor or similar role
  • good working knowledge of management and maintenance of buildings, mechanical, electrical and other infrastructure systems
  • up to date knowledge of statutory regulations and guidance relating to the post
  • an energetic and hands on approach, excited to lead a small and productive team undertaking responsibility for the overall operational management and maintenance of the site.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Line management of the Site and Cleaning Team
  • To act as lead on the academy’s energy management strategies
  • Support with the management of Health and Safety across the academy site
  • Liaison with and supervision of contractors
  • Plan and carry out repairs and maintenance of the academy site
  • Act as key holder, opening or closing the site and alarm call out response
