We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive Site Manager to join our school community. The successful candidate will lead and organise, on a daily basis, a team of experienced Site Assistants to ensure a safe, efficient and effective learning and working environment for students and staff.

This position would suit someone with previous site management experience (experience within a school setting would be desirable) and knowledge of establishing and overseeing repairs and maintenance programmes. You will be a key part of our wider Estates team, responsible for building maintenance and ensuring high standards of compliance are maintained, liaising with contractors and supporting longer-term development plans.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Site department health and safety as well as promoting health and safety throughout the school so must have a good knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures as well as the ability to communicate effectively. Occasional evening/weekend working may be required from time to time to meet operational needs.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Passionate about ensuring the school environment is exemplary

  • Flexible and able to work well as part of a team
