What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a full-time Site Manager to lead and manage the site team and related services, delivering the priorities and outcomes sought by the school in a cost effective and efficient manner. The successful candidate will contribute to the formulation and implementation of the school’s estates strategy and Long Term Maintenance Plan (LTMP) and will manage all aspects of the school property upkeep, care, maintenance, security, health and safety and facilities management in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. Additionally, they will manage refurbishments and other building improvements in terms of development and procurement and to act as the school representative with contractors and manage all lettings. Applicants will need to be both flexible and adaptable, and able to respond to emergency situations as well as planned events and works.

Responsibilities will include site security encompassing locking up in the evenings and after lets, working with the Business Manager on the school’s estate strategy, LTMP and site development and improvement, general maintenance of buildings and fixtures and fittings, management of all lettings on site, ensuring premises compliance checks are completed in line with Health & Safety legislation and appropriate risk assessments are in place, dealing with emergencies such as intruder and fire alarms, leaks, floods and adverse weather.
