Permanent 37 hours per week over 52 weeks per year

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated, and committed Site Manager to join our dedicated team.

This is an important role supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school, helping to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

We are looking for someone to:

Oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and security of the school site.

Carry out routine inspections and coordinate repairs and maintenance works.

Manage site contractors and ensure all works are completed safely and effectively.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements.

Support the management of site budgets and maintenance schedules.

Monitor and maintain school facilities, grounds, and equipment.

Assist with lettings, school events, and emergency call-outs where required.

Act as a key holder and support site security procedures.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in a facilities, premises, site management, or buildings management role.

Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and building compliance requirements.

Strong practical maintenance and problem-solving skills.

The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A proactive and professional approach to maintaining a safe learning environment.

Experience working within a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.

The Governors of St Patrick’s Primary School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
