Site Manager job summary

About the Role:

You will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day maintenance of the buildings and grounds

  • Managing contractors and service providers on site

  • Health and safety compliance and record-keeping

  • Ensuring the school is safe, well-maintained and fully operational at all times

  • Supporting school events and occasional out-of-hours requirements

    We are looking for someone who:
    • Has experience in site management, maintenance, or a similar role

    • Is reliable, hardworking and flexible with a strong sense of pride in their work

    • Has good knowledge of health & safety legislation and risk assessments

    • Possesses practical skills in maintenance, repairs and DIY

    • Can work independently and use initiative

    • Has strong organisational and communication skills

    • Understands the importance of safeguarding in a school setting
