Do you thrive on responsibility, teamwork, and making a visible impact every day?

Are you ready to take the next step in your facilities career?

If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

Your role:

As Site Manager at Thomas Deacon Academy, you’ll take on a key leadership role at the heart of our Facilities and Estates team. You’ll shape and maintain the environment that supports learning, growth and community across our impressive campus.

You’ll lead a team of Property Services Officers, manage contractors, and ensure the site is secure, safe and fully operational. You’ll be the main keyholder and a central figure in maintaining the Academy’s physical environment, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure everything from waste management to fire safety is handled with care and precision.

To succeed, you’ll need strong leadership skills, hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to work flexibly and independently. A full driving licence is essential, and while qualifications in health & safety or maintenance are desirable, your initiative, reliability and communication skills are what will set you apart.

The team works across multiple Trust locations to keep schools safe, functional and welcoming - ensuring smooth daily operations. From managing access and technical systems to providing porter services and maintenance support, your work enables educators to focus on teaching and learning. By maintaining clean, secure and efficient spaces, you’ll directly contribute to the success and wellbeing of our educational community.

If you’re ready to take pride in your work, lead with purpose, and help create a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff, we’d love to welcome you to the team.
