What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualifications: A good standard of general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above) alongside a relevant trade qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
  • Experience: Practical property maintenance experience, an understanding of school security/health & safety legislation, and experience monitoring contractor performance.
  • Skills: Excellent DIY and IT skills, physical fitness for lifting/carrying, and a systematic approach to keeping audit-ready safety records.
  • Personal Attributes: A proactive mindset to spot issues before they arise, the ability to build rapport with students, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a flexible approach to working hours to support evening events. A sense of humor and previous experience in a school environment are highly desirable!
