Site Officer job summary

Our school, situated to the west of Peterborough, is currently at an exciting phase of our journey following a very successful Ofsted inspection in April 2024. Our mission is to create an exceptional school which provides our children with the knowledge and skills they need to prepare them for the next phase of their education and beyond.

We work in close partnership with three local primary schools and one secondary as part of Keys Academies Trust.

We are looking for an exceptional Site Officer who:

  • takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all pupils, staff and visitors;
  • demonstrates strong practical skills and knowledge of building maintenance, health and safety, and site security;
  • carries out routine inspections, minor repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently, ensuring the school site is always well-presented and fully operational;
  • is proactive and organised, able to prioritise tasks and respond effectively to day-to-day site needs and unexpected issues;
  • understands and follows health and safety procedures, contributing to risk assessments and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements;
  • works collaboratively as part of the school community, building positive relationships with pupils, staff and contractors;
  • is committed to maintaining high standards and contributing to a safe, supportive and inclusive school environment for everyone ;
