What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working Site Supervisor to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for our school buildings and grounds including cleanliness, security, porterage, monitoring contracts/contractors, routine maintenance, repairs and refurbishment and advising on improvements to the general school environment. Health & Safety check lists will need to be completed and kept up-to-date.

The successful candidate will have good practical skills, a positive attitude and the ability to manage and prioritise the busy workload of the site team. Experience in premises management ideally within a school environment and knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations is essential along with practical building related experience and good level of experience of using Microsoft packages.

The ability to communicate effectively at all levels to support staff with adhoc maintenance and project works whilst providing a responsive and re-active site service is key in ensuring success in this post.

Working full-time, core hours Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00 (37 hours per week), the post holder must be flexible to support the needs of the school and have the ability to adapt their hours accordingly to support our private lettings during evenings and weekends. As a school keyholder you may be required to attend out of hours emergencies and be willing to drive our school minibuses to support the needs of our students.
