Site Supervisor job summary
At Leytonstone School, ‘we work hard together, hands held, challenged to improve, and we improve every day. We are a proud community dedicated to growth; we take care of ourselves and each other.’
We are seeking to appoint a highly committed Site Supervisor to join our essential school support team. This role is vital in making sure our school remains a safe, secure and welcoming place for every student, staff member and community partner.
Working 36 hours per week, this shift requires a late finish of 9:15pm from Monday to Friday, along with regular overtime on Saturdays.
A key part of this role involves being the main point of contact for our evening and weekend lettings, where you will help organise facilities and ensure external groups use our site safely and respectfully. You will take charge of the security and upkeep of our buildings, from holding keys and locking the site to checking that all Health and Safety rules are followed. We are looking for a candidate who is active, handy and reliable—someone who takes pride in doing a good job and can act as a helpful first point of contact for our community. You will work closely with the Premises Manager to carry out repairs, support lettings, manage deliveries and set up our halls for busy school events.
Our staff are friendly and work closely together with a strong sense of purpose and we put professional learning at the heart of what we do. This is a perfect opportunity for a dedicated person to join a helpful team and make a real, visible difference in the lives of our young people every single day.
If you would like more details about the school or the department, please contact HR email: hr@leytonstoneschool.org.
We may hold interviews as and when applications are received, and this job may be withdrawn
