Site Supervisor job summary

Key Responsibilities Include:

Maintain a clean, safe, and secure site at all times

Carry out day-to-day maintenance and repairs across the premises and grounds

Monitor and liaise with contractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard

Act as a keyholder and be responsible for site security, including opening and locking up

Support the cleaning team to ensure high standards of hygiene

Maintain health and safety records, carry out regular checks and risk assessments

Prepare rooms and school facilities for events, meetings and external lettings

Manage lettings during term time and school holidays

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience in building/site supervision, maintenance or caretaking

Has strong DIY and maintenance skills

Understands health and safety regulations in a school or similar environment

Is organised, proactive and able to work independently

Is physically fit and capable of manual handling and site tasks

Can communicate well with staff, pupils, parents, contractors and external users

Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
