Sixth Form Student Support Officer and Learning Mentor

32.5 hours per week Monday-Friday, but we are happy to consider flexible start and finish times, and job-sharing

Term-time (38 weeks) plus two training days

Pay Scale: H6 (Points 14-19)

Paid salary reflecting actual hours/weeks: £20,770 - £22,581 (for 32.5 hours)

This role is based in the very large Sixth Form study area and works very closely with the sixth form leadership team to deliver comprehensive and direct pastoral support and care to all sixth form students, including managing and mentoring study habits. This will include engagement with the whole sixth form body when supervising workspaces, but also group and individual mentoring; there will be a particular emphasis on support for disadvantaged students.

Our OFSTED grading has recently been confirmed as Outstanding (November 2023) and the inspection team have written that:
