SIXTH FORM STUDY SUPPORT SUPERVISOR
ST CLEMENT DANES SCHOOL
32.5 hours per week, Term Time plus 5 INSET days
8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday including 30 minutes’ unpaid lunch break
H5 Point 9: £25,119 + £988 fringe allowance FTE (pro rata)
Actual starting salary: £19,614.89 per annum

Core Purpose
To maximise the learning of all students in the Sixth Form, promoting a positive, focused and supported Post16 study ethos.
We would like you to have:
High level of professionalism at all times
Commitment to the safeguarding of children
Minimum GCSE grade C in English and Maths or equivalent qualification
Ability to communicate effectively and positively with all stakeholders
Experience of working with children of the relevant age
Good organisational and time-management skills, and a willingness to take responsibility and be accountable
Good ICT skills
Flexibility, adaptability and ability to act on initiative
Understanding of how to support students of all abilities and be committed to student progress and welfare
Understanding of the curricular requirements of the Sixth Form
Willingness to undertake further, relevant training and to pass those skills on to other members of staff, as appropriate
Commitment to supporting the highest standards of student achievement, and have the belief that engaging learning, with high challenge and a focus on developing independence, is the most effective and enjoyable learning
An interest in teacher training as this post has the potential to act as a precursor to Initial Teacher Training

It was established initially for the northern church schools of the Church of England dioceses of Leeds and York but now includes its first community school, namely Carnagill Community Primary school located on Catterick Garrison. Our Trust currently comprises one Secondary and thirteen Primary schools.
