Roughwood Primary School, proud to be part of the Willow Tree Academy, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Midday Supervision & Play Leader to join our team.

This vital role is centred on ensuring the safety, welfare, and positive engagement of our primary school pupils during the entire lunchtime period. You will be responsible for creating a positive, safe, and respectful environment in the dining hall and playground.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Positive Supervision: Actively supervise pupils across all areas, maintaining good order and discipline while upholding our Positive Behaviour Policy, Restorative Practice Ethos, and Emotion Coaching Training.

  • Play Leadership: Organise and engage pupils in productive games and activities, fostering strong, respectful professional relationships built on mutual respect and high expectations.

  • Dining Hall Support: Promote independence, good table manners, and the proper use of cutlery. You will also assist with general dining duties, including ensuring cleanliness and managing spillages.

  • Health & Safety: Attend to all accidents immediately, accurately record them and apply basic first aid when required. Maintain communication with class teachers.
