What skills and experience we're looking for

Holcombe Grammar School is seeking a part time Spanish Foreign Language Assistant to work across their MFL Department carrying out 1:1 and group interventions, helping raise attainment throughout.Working under the guidance of teaching staff, you will lead weekly speaking sessions with individual students and small groups, using engaging, topic-based materials to stimulate discussion and build confidence in spoken Spanish. Your role will be central to enhancing students’ language skills and preparing them for success in their examinations.What you will need to succeed:

  • Fluent in Spanish and passionate about language learning
  • Support students with online learning tools, key skills, and subject-specific tasks
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to design and deliver high-quality learning packages
  • Confident in practising exam techniques and conducting mock oral exams
  • Provide tailored tutoring as directed by the Curriculum Leader to support exam preparation
