Spanish Foreign Language Assistant
Start Date: 1st October 2025
Hours Per Week: 12 hours per week
Working pattern: 1st October until 31st May (1st June until 30th September unpaid leave)
Salary: Teacher's unqualified pay range 1
Hourly Rate: £17.14
We require an enthusiastic native Spanish speaker to work with our highly able and motivated students, primarily to help with their speaking and listening skills. Working independently with individuals or small groups of students, you will assist in the preparation for the speaking component of A Level, AS Level and GCSE exams. There may also be opportunities to provide additional support for native speakers at KS3/4. We are looking for an interest and desire to support students and staff in enhancing student appreciation of Hispanic culture.
No previous experience is necessary but a good understanding of Spanish is required.
The successful candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of working positively as part of a team. Experience of working with children and young people would be advantageous.
