SEND at Rickmansworth School

At Rickmansworth School, we recognise that every student has unique needs, with some requiring more support than others to reach their full potential. Currently, 16% of our students are identified as having SEND (1.3% with EHCPs). While some may only need brief, minimal support, others may require ongoing assistance throughout their education. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all students can thrive both academically and socially, ensuring they have access to the wide range of opportunities the school offers. Our goal is to equip each student with the strategies they need to manage their individual needs in a supportive setting, ensuring meaningful access to the National Curriculum.

This commitment to inclusion was recently recognised with the Inclusion Quality Mark and a shortlisting for the national TES Award for Inclusive School of the Year (2024).
