What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit a Special Support Assistant at The Link School who have a genuine belief in person centred teaching and a commitment to the education and development of young people with SEN.

The school has a warm, safe, friendly and nurturing environment which helps children to learn, express their ideas, communicate, develop friendships and grow in confidence and self- esteem. You will need experience and a willingness to manage children with ASD (both verbal and non-verbal) and SLCN.

We are particularly looking for staff with strong emotional intelligence and an ability to understand and come alongside children with high level anxieties.
